12-year-old rapper Kyle Kevin Al-Enzi from Canada launches his debut song “Me”

Kyle Kevin Al-Enzi, born July 9th, 2007 in Canada started rapping at the age of 8 and after four years, he has released his debut song “Me” on major music platforms including Spotify, Soundcloud, and YouTube among others. He is of half Guyanese and half Arabic descent and raised in a family with mixed heritage and cultures.

Like many other kids of his age, he loves to play video games and has an interest in technology, apart from rap music of course. At present, he is super focused to become a rapper and continues to experiment with different music styles and lyrics.

In this exclusive interview, Kyle talks about his music and what made him become a rapper at such an early age:

Interviewer: What inspired you to become a rapper?

Kyle: Well I really liked music and the idea of it, once I freestyled and it sounded really good so I started to make music also I wanted to make my friends and family proud also I really like the fame and designer clothes.

Interviewer: Tell us something about your debut song “Me”.

Kyle: I made it in 2 days and I used a ynw bslime type beat. I made it right before halloween and was talking about a certain someone in the song.

Interviewer: Who are the artists that inspire you?

Kyle: Ynw bslime, Ynw melly, Lil tecca, Lil mosey, NLE choppa, Tay k, Lil yachty, Nbayoungboy…

Interviewer: How do you balance your studies with music?

Kyle: Well, when I finish all my school work I work on music I will always work on music when I’m free or feeling bored.

Interviewer: Where do you see yourself in the next 10 years?

Kyle: I see myself still rapping but really good at it and being really famous. I also see my self being married with 2 kids 2 boys really rich with a great family to follow. And a great girl that I can trust.

Interviewer: Would you rather work as an independent artist or get signed by a label?

Kyle: I would rather get signed by a label because it’s easier to make music in a way of like production because they will always have the best producers and u can get it done whenever Also they help you with lyrics like if I were to makes songs they would tell me which parts are good and bad and what I would need to improve on.
